American Structurepoint’s Bridge Group is seeking candidates to join us for our summer internship program in Indianapolis, IN. As a Bridge intern, you'll work with a diverse team of designers, engineers and project managers on a variety of bridge projects to develop them from concept to final design . The daily duties would include assisting the assigned project team with developing bridge scoping reports , bridge hydraulic design for waterway structures, designing key components of the bridge for the substructure and superstructure including the riding surface. Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Civil, Environmental, Construction, or Structural Engineering, Land Surveying, or a related field with a focus on civil infrastructure
• Reliable transportation to and from the office or local project sites
• Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a strong work ethic and openness to new experiences and challenges

Responsibilities

• Support bridge design projects by assisting with hydraulic modeling, site assessments, and the development of engineering reports
• Work with a variety of industry tools such as MicroStation/GEOPAK, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, OpenBridge, Merlin Dash, and QuickBridge to create 3D models and project deliverables
• Gain hands-on experience across a range of project types, including bridge replacements and rehabilitations, urban and rural roadway improvements, and major interstate upgrades
