About The Position
Multi-state design firm is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer for their team in Denver!
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- 6+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE)
- Experience with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design
- Experience with bridge analysis and design programs (LARSA, LEAP Bridge Expertise, Lpile, SPColumn, or MDX)
- Expertise with DOT bridge projects
- Knowledge of MicroStation software
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree, or in pursuit, preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare high-level project design
- Review project documents and design quality for complex projects
- Provide technical guidance to team members to solve complex problems
- Perform QA/QC and ensure completed designs meet quality standards
- Scope and complexity research
- Lead staff on design approach
- Develop standards and/or guidelines for engineering activities
- Mentor/train junior staff
