About The Position
AECOM is seeking a Bridge Engineer to be based in Chicago, IL. Perform analysis and design of transportation structures such as bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and sign structures under the supervision of experienced engineers. Use computer programs to model and solve engineering problems. Creates design calculations, sketches, plan details, and project reports meeting industry standards. Visit job sites and inspect in-service structures. Complete work assignments within budget and schedule. Develop strong organizational, technical, and communication skills. Build knowledge of transportation project development and delivery. Maintain technical learning on route to obtain professional licenses.
