We offer a wide range of expertise to support client needs for both new and existing transportation infrastructure. The Role We have an opportunity for a Bridge Engineer Intern for our Transportation Practice in the Portland, Maine office.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate or graduate student in civil or structural engineering
  • Excellent academic record

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in AutoCAD and MicroStation is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for structural analysis, design, load ratings, quantity estimating, and drafting/detailing of bridge and infrastructure elements
  • Coordination of work under the supervision of in-house staff
  • Field site visits
  • Preparation of drawings, specifications, and contract documents
