About The Position

Zenith Tech Inc. of the Walbec Group is looking for a Laborer responsible for many tasks that require physical labor supporting all aspects in the layout and construction of bridges and related structures. This includes concrete demolition, concrete deck repair, keeping machines and equipment maintained, assisting in clean-up of the job site, and other duties assigned by the Foreman or other management. The position is based in Chetek, WI, and requires reliable transportation and a willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Ability to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
• Tolerate and work in variable weather conditions and dirty, dusty environments.
• Willing and capable of working in a physically demanding job.
• Member of a Local Laborer Union, or willingness to become a union member.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years prior bridge construction experience and/or construction laborer experience preferred.
• Experience operating a concrete vibrator, jack hammer, and mortar mixer.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects in the layout and construction of bridges and related structures.
• Perform concrete demolition and concrete deck repair.
• Maintain machines and equipment.
• Assist in clean-up of job site.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Foreman or management.
