About The Position

LaRiviere Inc is seeking skilled Bridge Carpenters to join our construction team. Bridge Carpenters are responsible for building, assembling, and installing wooden and metal forms used to support concrete placement in bridge and roadway projects. We are currently hiring for the Coeur d 'Alene, Idaho / Spokane Washington Region Opportunities: Bridge Carpenters play a critical role in the success of our infrastructure projects. Job Requirements Must be comfortable and physically capable of working in outdoor conditions and doing manual labor tasks. Dependability and a strong work ethic are expected. All skill levels are welcome to apply. Pay will be based on experience level and work history. Job requires manual labor that regularly requires shoveling, using various forms of hand tools, lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted and working in all temperatures. Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Carpenter in heavy civil or bridge construction preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction math, measuring, and layout.
  • Ability to operate hand tools and power tools with precision.
  • Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy materials.
  • Commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality craftsmanship

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
  • Measure, cut, assemble, and install formwork for bridge decks, columns, abutments, and other structures.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment to complete tasks safely and accurately.
  • Install temporary supports and bracing to maintain the stability of forms.
  • Collaborate with concrete finishers and reinforcing steel installers to ensure proper alignment and fit.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe work area in compliance with company and site safety standards.
