Bridge CAD Designer

BCC, a Parsons Company, is looking for an amazingly talented Senior CAD Designer / Drafter to join our team! Requirements
- 5 years of related Infrastructure, structural and bridge drafting experience.
- Proficiency in Microstation, OpenRoads Designer, AutoCAD and working knowledge of Civil 3D is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and/or Bluebeam.
- Experience working on FDOT (Florida Department of Transportation) projects.

Responsibilities
- Coordinating with and assisting a licensed engineer, analyze and prepare project designs and drawings for steel bridges; pre-cast, pre-stressed concrete bridges; cast-in-place flat slabs; and miscellaneous structures
- Use standard drafting/design principles and theories to prepare project drawings quickly, accurately, and in accordance with all specifications outlined in internal and external CADD manuals
- Work from project specifications, sketches, computer models, and verbal information to determine the most appropriate views, detail drawings, and supplementary information needed to complete drawings quickly and accurately
- Coordinate with other technicians, designers, and engineers to complete details and ensure a cohesive design
- Effectively present proposed team design solutions as part of internal project meetings
- Stay up to date with industry CADD standards and best practices
- Adhere to company marketing requirements by providing timely personal resume updates and participating in marketing campaigns
- Ensure timely completion of time sheets, expense reports, and labor hours management
- Take ownership of personal and team member career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop and teach new skills, and setting and pursuing goals
- Contribute to the development of team members through mentorship and modeling positive behaviors
