About The Position

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of production brewing experience required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Brewing science or applicable math or science degree or certification preferred.
• Experience with Orchestrated Beer or similar ERP is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications for email, documentation, and calculations.
• Experience with Proleit or similar brewing automation is preferred.
• Mechanical proficiency sufficient to perform routine preventative maintenance and manageable repairs.
• Knowledge of business math and its application to brewing science and production processes.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.

Nice To Haves

• Current Forklift certification (can be provided by RRBC).

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitation of brewing equipment and general brewery cleaning.
• Perform all brewhouse and cellar work including wort production, CIP tanks, and transfer lines.
• Conduct yeast harvests, propagation, and yeast health monitoring.
• Operate centrifuge and other filtration technology.
• Perform cellar racks, tank actions, and dry hopping.
• Carbonate and keg beer with attention to detail and focus on beer quality.
• Adhere to all SOPs for assigned tasks and complete proper documentation via Smartsheet.
• Document completed tasks in the ERP system (Orchestrated Beer).
• Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate mechanical issues to supervisor and maintenance team.
• Manage raw material receiving, preparation, and management related to brewing actions.
• Assist with packaging tasks as needed and other production tasks as requested.
