The Breathing Air Technician is responsible for in-house services and/or client turnarounds. This position involves monitoring low pressure and high-pressure breathing air, ensuring packs are current and not expired, and offering Rigup / Rig Up services in an industrial environment. The technician will provide routine inspection and maintenance of breathing air regulators and reducers, as well as the receipt, inspection, cleaning, servicing, reassembling, and testing of various SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) and other respiratory equipment and breathing air equipment in accordance with approved testing and service procedures. Thorough documentation of services rendered and equipment in service is required, along with stocking shelves with clean, tested, and ready-to-use equipment and pulling, staging, and loading customer orders onto trucks for delivery. Maintaining a clean and orderly work area is also essential, along with additional duties as assigned.
