The Breastfeeding Peer Counselor will join our Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) Department and serve as a source of support for our mothers and families. The WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counselor is a professional who offers breastfeeding support and education to WIC participants. They provide accurate breastfeeding information to help promote breastfeeding in the community and as a peer can speak to the breastfeeding experience and provide wisdom. This part time role role is stationed in Corona, Queens.
