About The Position

As a Breast Ultrasound Technologist at Banner Health, you will join a team of dedicated healthcare professionals focused on providing a positive patient experience. This role involves performing ultrasound biopsies and breast biopsies, as well as breast and general ultrasound exams, while producing high-quality images. You will typically see 10-15 patients per day in an outpatient imaging clinic setting. The position is full-time, requiring 40 hours a week, with shifts from Monday to Friday, ranging from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Requirements

• National certification in the area of specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
• BLS certification required.
• 1-2 years of clinical experience in breast ultrasound.
• Effective communication and human relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound biopsies and breast biopsies.
• Conduct breast and general ultrasound exams.
• Produce high-quality images for interpretation.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and treatments.

• Perform quality control measurements on equipment and troubleshoot issues.
