About The Position

Breast Ultrasound Tech We are seeking a skilled Breast Ultrasound Technologist to work full time, and perform breast ultrasound, biopsy, and localization procedures. This role ensures accurate diagnostic testing, exceeding customer service expectations, and supporting Baptist Health’s Core Values of Integrity, Respect, Compassion, Excellence, Collaboration, and Joy. Responsibilities include verifying patient information, following department protocols, monitoring patients, using aseptic techniques, assisting radiologists, and providing patient education. The technologist will also produce high-quality images, minimize repeats, and maintain accurate documentation. Additional duties include obtaining patient history, updating records, and staying current on advancements in technology. The role involves training new staff and aligning work with Baptist Health’s goals, fostering a culture of safety, and promoting continuous improvement. Requirements

  • Graduate from Accredited Radiologic Technology Program
  • Successful completion of the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers National Board Examination or ARRT
  • Possess and maintain ARRT/ARDMS certification.
  • BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
