About The Position

Novant Health Cancer Institute is seeking a Breast Surgical Oncologist to join their practice in Charlotte, North Carolina. Candidate should be fellowship trained in Breast Surgical Oncology. Join a collaborative and dedicated team providing care in one of North Carolina's most desirable regions. The role offers the opportunity to participate in clinical research and teaching opportunities available through our clinical affiliation with UNC-Chapel Hill, working with UNC medical students. Engage in a weekly multi-disciplinary cancer conference to support patient-centered care and participate in institute and state-wide breast cancer tumor council, with collaboration on initiatives and clinical research.

Requirements

• Fellowship trained in Breast Surgical Oncology.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for a patient population aged 18 and older.
• Participate in clinical research.
• Engage in a weekly multi-disciplinary cancer conference.
• Collaborate on initiatives and clinical research with the breast cancer tumor council.
• Cover own call.
