About The Position

Provide clinical care, office, outpatient surgical and inpatient surgical care to all patients with breast disease, including Emergency Room consults for breast surgery in Paterson and Wayne. Provide teaching to all professional disciplines in matters related to breast disease. Participate in medical education of residents as deemed necessary by the Residency Program Director and Chairperson of Surgery. Provide coverage of the outpatient breast clinic.

Responsibilities

• Maintain necessary and appropriate documentation for all services provided in compliance with regulatory and hospital policies.
• Participate in the development of the Women's Center and Breast Center.
• Perform administrative duties as directed by the Chairperson of Surgery and Chief of Breast Surgery and Medical Director of Breast Services.
• Any other functions that may arise as deemed appropriate by the Chairman of the Department and Chief of Breast Surgery and Medical Director of Breast Services.
