About The Position

A organization is seeking an experienced Breast Sonographer to support diagnostic imaging services. The ideal candidate will independently perform high-quality ultrasound examinations with a strong focus on breast imaging while ensuring patient safety, accuracy, and compliance with clinical standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an ultrasound program accredited by a CHEA-recognized accrediting body under the U.S. Department of Education.
• RDMS certification in Abdominal and OB/GYN required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional ultrasound experience .
• Breast imaging experience is required .
• Ability to successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate sonographic equipment to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including breast imaging.
• Obtain and review relevant patient medical history prior to examinations.
• Utilize independent judgment during exams to accurately distinguish between normal and pathological findings.
• Communicate examination findings clearly and effectively to the interpreting radiologist.
• Manage daily operations of the sonographic lab, including patient scheduling.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance, quality assurance, and quality control checks.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with departmental and regulatory standards.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the imaging process.
