About The Position
Join a growing partnership between Imagen Technologies and a leading multi-site healthcare system serving one of the largest patient populations on Long Island, NY. This opportunity expands access to high-quality breast imaging by combining an established clinical network with Imagen’s physician-led model, advanced technology, and fully supported remote infrastructure. The role is designed for breast radiologists seeking the flexibility of remote work while maintaining a strong clinical focus, interpreting a full spectrum of breast imaging studies including screening and diagnostic mammography, ultrasound, and breast MRI. Imagen’s technology platform enhances efficiency and accuracy with AI tools integrated into the workflow and 24/7 IT and operational support. You will be part of a collaborative, physician-led environment that values quality, consistency, and long-term clinical impact, practicing breast imaging at scale from anywhere while supporting a large, established health system in Long Island. This is a full-time, remote position for an acute care facility, with Monday-Friday, Dayshift hours and no on-call, evenings, or weekend coverage responsibilities. Imagen's mission is to ensure every patient receives the right diagnosis at the right time, as a leading provider of technology-enabled diagnostic imaging services. Their Medical Practice consists of 50+ specialists, and their FDA-cleared software analyzes medical images to improve diagnostic accuracy.
Requirements
- ABR or AOBR Board Certified
- 2+ years experience in Women’s Imaging
- Continuing experience and continuing medical education credits meeting MQSA requirements
Nice To Haves
- Fellowship training in Breast Imaging preferred
Responsibilities
- Read: 2D screening mammograms, 3D screening mammograms, 2D diagnostic mammograms, 3D diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasounds, and ABUS exams
- Support technologists and sonographers to provide real-time guidance
- Provide real-time consultations to patients
- Collaborate with technical, administrative staff, and medical leadership to provide high quality, comprehensive high-quality patient-centered care
