About The Position

The Breakfast Supervisor at Atlanta Marriott Northeast/Emory Area is responsible for overseeing the restaurant and Starbucks operations, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests while leading a team to deliver excellent service. This role involves both supervisory and hands-on responsibilities in food preparation and service, as well as employee management.

Requirements

  • Basic reading and writing skills.
  • Food & Beverage experience preferred.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Frequent standing and moving about the work area.
  • Frequent handling of objects and equipment to maintain the facility.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling.
  • Frequent work in areas of high temperatures around heavy equipment.
  • Two to three years of related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

  • Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Facilitate a team environment to ensure optimum guest service.
  • Responsible for preparation and execution of daily food service including cooking, food prep, cleaning, and any other required tasks requested by hotel leadership.
  • Supervisory duties include interviewing, hiring, training employees, scheduling, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, planning, assigning, directing work, and addressing complaints.
