As the Breakfast Server you will: Be a Friendly Face - arriving at work on time to get the restaurant set up and ready to open, keeping the area clean and attractive throughout the meal period. As the outlet closes, all cleaning duties - floors, tables, buffet as well as sidework duties. - are also part of your role. Be a Host as well as a Server - pouring water, upselling food & beverage, making helpful suggestions, answering questions, remembering names or favorite choices, offering a friendly smile - and maybe even a weather forecast or a local attraction suggestion - is all part of the job. Be a Food Professional - understand the food and beverage you are serving so you know what you are speaking about; offer prompt, excellent service to create a wonderful dining experience for the guest; handle cash/credit accurately and timely. Be a Safety & Security Agent - follow your hotel's established safety and security policies & procedures. Anticipate problems and call management as needed.
