About The Position

The Breakfast Server / Attendant is responsible for the service of food and beverages, including order-taking and delivery, in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and professional manner to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction. This role involves checking the station for proper setup, greeting guests, upselling menu items, accurately recording orders, and ensuring the timely delivery of food and beverages while adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations and service standards.
  • Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
  • Ability to remember and promote menu items.
  • Basic knowledge of the English language sufficient for customer inquiries.
  • Ability to operate a keyboard for Point of Sale procedures.
  • Ability to transport a maximum of 50 pounds continuously.
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.

Responsibilities

  • Check station before, during and after shift for proper table set-up, teardown, and upkeep.
  • Greet guests promptly and in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Address the guest by name every time using 4Core.
  • Upsell with knowledge of liquor, beer, wine, appetizers, dinners, desserts, and restaurant promotions.
  • Record food and beverage orders from the guests accurately.
  • Use POS system to provide kitchen and bar with guests' orders.
  • Check completed orders for accuracy prior to serving.
  • Deliver food promptly, ensuring hot food is served hot and cold food is served cold.
  • Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
  • Present accurate guest checks and process transactions.
