Located in Walla Walla on a serene 38 acres of estate vineyards, lavender fields, and gardens, Abeja is a celebrated winery and distinctive Inn that creates a magical countryside oasis. Visitors will experience exclusive world-class Washington state wines, all crafted with care from the land, while staying in guest cottages that each share a different story about the rich history of the turn-of-the-century farmstead. Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have or obtain a State Food Handler's License and Class 12 Mast Liquor Serving Permit.
  • Previous experience as a server in a similar environment.
  • Ability to perform essential functions on the computerized Point of Sale system.
  • Working knowledge of dining and beverage service procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service by taking orders and delivering food and beverage items to guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
  • Accurately enter orders into the Point-of-Sale system and communicate any special requests or dietary needs to the culinary team to accommodate all guest preferences.
  • Ensure that food and beverages are presented beautifully and consistently, creating a visually appealing and inviting dining experience for guests.
  • Serve all food and beverage items at the ideal temperature, ensuring quality and satisfaction with each guest's order.
  • Stay knowledgeable about menu items, seasonal offerings, and any changes to the menu, providing helpful recommendations to guests when needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and guest dining space, ensuring a pleasant and welcoming environment throughout the shift.
