An entry level line cook requires good communication and culinary skills. The desired cook candidate will have hotel cooking experience and a culinary degree. An entry level cook should have a professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures. Intermediate cook will work single stations in the kitchen and require significant supervision and training. Requirements

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• 2 years of previous line experience preferred.
• Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.
• Must be able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time.
• Must have physical stamina to lift, push, and pull moderate amounts of weight.
• California Food Handlers Certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a hotel kitchen environment.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
