We’re seeking an experienced Broadcast Producer to assist with the planning and production of live and pre-recorded radio show & Podcast.

Requirements

  • Creative mindset with the ability to formulate and communicate original ideas
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills; ability to tailor and adapt content for different audiences and platforms
  • Knowledge of the radio market, different station/program styles, audience demographics
  • Experience using a variety of recording equipment and operating a radio studio
  • Ability to build rapport and draw information from people
  • Confidence and tenacity to pursue information and pitch new ideas
  • Ability to plan and multi-task
  • Full knowledge of the law, rules and industry regulations around radio productions; know when it is necessary to acquire relevant clearances and licenses
  • Keen attention to detail and a good design eye
  • Proficient in NexGen, Sound+, Editing Software, Microsoft Office suite, social networking platforms and basic audio production tools including Adobe Audition and NextGen automation system
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle the demands of deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Breakfast Club audio production and show editing for WWPR and Nat’l affiliates
  • Idea generator for radio advertising and station promotions
  • Creates radio advertising, station promotions and show audio content
  • Coordinates in-house production (e.g. voicing, writing, dubbing and archiving) of commercials and promotional announcements
  • Partners with On-Air Talent in the production and writing of commercials for clients and show elements
  • Works with voice talent to record and edit daily and weekly long and short form programming
  • Works with programming leadership to capture and edit audio from various sources, monitors TV shows, grabs and cleans up clips to share with talent
  • Provides creative support to Sales and clients with regard to commercials and promotional announcements
  • Edits material from clients to ensure conformance with company policy and FCC regulations
  • Coordinates with Traffic and Sales to expedite radio commercials and rotations in accordance with specifications requested by client
  • Creates material for websites or other platforms for online use
  • Produces trailers to promote client-sponsored events/competitions or to build station brand
  • Edit guest interviews and Best of Shows Work
  • Generate original ideas, encourage ideation from others, and carry out thorough research
  • Give direction to presenters, content providers, assistants and other crew members
  • Work in collaboration with presenters, performers or other program contributors to perform quality assurance to meet established production standards, rules and regulations
  • Use various broadcasting technologies such as soundboards and editing/production software
  • Schedule and monitor the radio stream during live recordings
  • Assist with time-keeping, saving show recordings, archiving show files and post-production editing
