About The Position

A Holiday Inn Express Breakfast Attendant ensures a high-quality breakfast experience by preparing, setting up, and maintaining the buffet according to brand standards. Key duties include greeting guests, keeping the dining area clean, replenishing food/beverages, and adhering to sanitation safety regulations. This role requires early mornings (6:00am to 11:00am) and weekend availability. Position Summary The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for delivering a positive, welcoming, and seamless breakfast experience for guests. They maintain, clean, and stock the breakfast bar, ensuring all food items are fresh and properly displayed while providing friendly customer service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food service or customer service experience (host/hostess experience is a plus).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 20-50 lbs.
• Flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up the breakfast buffet, including hot items, continental items, coffee, and juices, according to brand standards.
• Prepare hot food items (e.g., eggs, bacon/sausage) and prepare/replenish items like fruit, cereals, and pastries.
• Greet guests warmly, answer questions about menu items, and assist with special requests.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the buffet, tables, floors, and kitchen area throughout the shift.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations; report any maintenance issues.
• Monitor food inventory levels and inform management of needed supplies.
• Clear/clean tables, wash serving equipment, take out trash, and assist with laundry if necessary.
