About The Position

The Hampton Inn in Georgetown, KY i s se eki ng a reliable and hardworking Breakfast Attendant to join our team. This positio n is responsible f or p reparing, setting up , ma intaini ng , and breaking down the daily breakfast service while ensuring that all guests experience a clean, well-stocked, and welcoming environment. This is a fast-paced position that requires attention to detail, time management, and excellent guest service skills. You will deal with a variety of guests, including families and business travelers, and must be able to remain calm, professional, and efficient in busy or challenging situations.

Requirements

  • Must be dependable and punctual with reliable transportation.
  • Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Must be available for early morning shifts (typically starting between 5:00–6:00 a.m.).
  • Willing to Complete Food Handlers Certification (or have a valid certificate )
  • Must maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance at all times.

  • Prior hospitality or food service experience is preferred but not

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present breakfast items according to Hampton Inn standards.
  • Set up the breakfast area before service begins and ensure all food, beverages, and supplies are stocked throughout service.
  • Maintain cleanliness of breakfast and dining areas, including counters, tables, floors, and equipment.
  • Respond promptly and politely to guest requests, questions, or concerns.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation throughout service, replenishing as needed.
  • Handle spills, messes, and unexpected situations quickly and safely.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and brand standards at all times.
  • Clean and store equipment properly after service and assist with dishwashing as needed.
  • Communicate low inventory or supply needs to management promptly.
  • Work cooperatively with other team members and departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.
