About The Position
The Breakfast Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience by preparing and maintaining the breakfast buffet and dining area. This position requires attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and a proactive approach to guest needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- Ability to work early morning shifts and weekends as required.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Responsibilities
- Set up the breakfast buffet according to hotel standards.
- Prepare and replenish food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
- Greet guests warmly and accommodate special requests as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and buffet stations.
- Monitor and restock breakfast items and supplies throughout service hours.
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with kitchen duties such as dishwashing and cleaning as necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by the manager/ supervisor.
