The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing the breakfast bar for hotel guests, greeting and servicing them in a friendly manner consistent with brand, hotel, and sustainability standards. Key tasks include carrying food, dishes, trays, or silverware from the pantry to serving counters, setting up attractive food displays, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure food safety. The role also involves wiping tables and seats, scraping and stacking dirty dishes for cleaning, cleaning up spills, removing trash, and ensuring adequate supplies of items like glassware, dishes, or trays. The attendant will fill beverage and ice dispensers, stock and refill condiment containers, locate and provide items requested by guests, and clean and polish counters, shelves, walls, furniture, or equipment in the pantry or breakfast area, including mopping or vacuuming floors. The position requires awareness of guest satisfaction scores and a commitment to increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction, adherence to HHM’s EarthView program sustainability guidelines, practice of safe work habits, use of required safety equipment, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Other duties as requested by management may also be performed.
