About The Position

The Hampton Inn Albany Western Ave SUNY Area, is a dynamic and customer-focused hotel committed to providing exceptional service and experiences to our clients. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be an essential part of our team, responsible for creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all guests and visitors. The Breakfast Attendant serves as a primary point of contact for guests, providing outstanding customer service and ensuring a positive experience during their stay or visit. This role requires a friendly and approachable demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The Breakfast Attendant must be attentive to detail, handle guest inquiries and requests, and assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Must have Reliable Transportation to be here at 4:45 am
  • Must be able to come in at 4:30am
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in customer service or a food service role is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Friendly, professional, and customer-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Maintains professional working relationships and promotes open lines of communication with managers, team members, and other departments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized service to all guests.
  • Preparing foods eggs, bacon, sausage
  • Stocking coffee, juice, and milk machines or dispensers.
  • Setting out/arranging cold food such as sweet rolls, muffins, donuts, cereal, etc.
  • Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated.
  • Wiping up spills and maintaining cleanliness of all appliances and counter space throughout the morning.
  • Removing trash.
  • Restocking self-service food and supplies as needed.
  • Washing serving equipment and returning it to storage.
  • All duties around preparation, set up, and service of the complimentary breakfast.
  • Any other duties as requested by the supervisor.
  • Comply with hotel policies and procedures
