About The Position

This role is responsible for helping to set the tone for guests’ day by ensuring a high-quality breakfast experience through maintaining the food and beverage areas, including replenishment, cleanliness, and overall presentation.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent; previous experience in a customer-focused industry, or a combination of both.
• Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service, including a positive attitude, organization, attention to detail, an ability to multi-task, and excellent grooming standards.
• Professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and guest service, and providing quick solutions for guest needs.
• Must be a team player and able to work independently with an emphasis on commitment to working together to ensure a positive guest experience, which requires attention to helping another teammate in a different department at times.
• Must have early morning availability.

Responsibilities

• Clear tables during the breakfast period and keep the surrounding areas clean.
• Adhere to and maintain food safety and sanitation standards in accordance to policies.
• Ensure tables, chairs, dishes, and utensils maintain good condition and report any defects for repair or replacement.
• Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
• Provide suggestions to Department Manager and/or General Manager as it relates to providing a great experience for hotel guests.
• Other duties, as assigned by Management.
