About The Position
The Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle Downtown Pioneer Square is looking for a Breakfast Attendant to assist with the hotel's very busy breakfast service. The Embassy Suites has 282 guest rooms and nearly 15,000 square feet of event space. Requirements
- A minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience.
- Experience in a high-volume guest service environment
- Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a food and beverage cashier, barista, server’s assistant, busser, runner, or related position highly preferred
- Previous restaurant and hotel experience are a plus!
Responsibilities
- Set and prepare tables for dining, including, but not limited to, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water, etc.
- Ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report any defects for repair
- Stock, maintain and clean designated food station(s)
- Assist food server(s) with table service, including, but not limited to, serving beverages, breads, etc.
- Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
