About The Position

Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain health and sanitation standards. Cover label and date all food products. Open kitchen and Close kitchen in absence of supervisors. Adhere to all prepared written recipes for all menu items including breakfast, room service, Grab and Go, and dinner menus. Report out of stock items to the supervisor. Prepare for the next shift, and ensure there is inventory. Help set-up restaurant and employee cafeteria buffet. Supervise and assist dishwashers and pantry personnel. Perform the duties of the Prep List schedule. Prepare all dressings and cold sauces. Assist with banquet preparation, as needed. Requirements: Minimum lifting and pulling of 50 pounds. Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity. Standing for long periods of time. Understands the overall functions and machinery in a Kitchen Must be flexible with schedule and adjust to business needs of the Hotel.
