Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, San Diego North 5975 Lusk Blvd San Diego, CA 92121 The Country Inn & Suites is looking for an energetic and detail-oriented part-time Breakfast Attendant to help host and serve our full breakfast buffet. Shifts begin between 5 to 6 AM and last until approximately 12:30 PM. Additional hours may be available based upon associate availability and seasonal demand. Compensation starts at $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

  • Experience in a foodservice environment preferred but not required
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude when handling all situations
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures of the hotel
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends
  • Ability to transport up to 50 lbs occasionally through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to hear with 100% accuracy with correction
  • Ability to stand and exert well paced mobility for an eight (8) hour shift
  • Ability to lift, pull, push up to 70 pounds on an ongoing basis
  • Must be able to squat, bend, kneel and twist on an ongoing basis
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Provides food and beverage service to guests in the breakfast room
  • Sets up breakfast at scheduled time
  • Prepares food and beverage to brand standard breakfast program guidelines
  • Ensure breakfast items are replenished and available to guests during breakfast hours according to standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of entire breakfast area and kitchen, including equipment, during and after breakfast hours
  • Inventory breakfast items regularly and help unload weekly food order.
  • Clears tables during the breakfast experience using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware and silverware in a timely manner
  • Cleans tables, chairs and floor area
  • Assists service team as necessary to meet and exceed the guests’ expectations
  • Adheres to hotel and brand safety and security procedures in addition to local, county and/or city health department standards
  • Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Radisson experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations.
  • Provides employees with the training and resources they need to maximize employee engagement and deliver Yes I Can! service and teamwork
  • Communicates and reinforces the vision for customer service to all managers, supervisors and employees
  • Creates an environment that encourages employees to provide the service brand behavior hospitality and teamwork
  • Ensures that all minimum requirements of the 100% Guest Satisfaction Guarantee are in place and understood by all employees
  • Ensures that the hotel delivers 100% Guest Satisfaction by developing customer feedback avenues (soliciting input, reports, etc.) and focusing management team on identifying trends and developing and implementing solutions
  • Creates an environment that provides employees with the tools, training and environment they need to deliver the service brand behavior and teamwork
  • Performs other duties as required by Management to provide 100% Guest Satisfaction and genuine hospitality to our Guest
