The Breaker Technician Assembler position involves the use of mechanical and electrical drawings and requires hands-on mechanical work using various tools and equipment in a safe and productive manner. The Assembler is responsible for the construction and quality of a core and coil assembly and associated tanking procedures. This includes prepping the tank and cover, inserting the unit, installing and connecting internal and external accessories, and adjusting to proper clearance. The position also involves processing the unit for testing and preparing it for shipping, while maintaining a safe, neat, and clean work area. Additionally, the Assembler must complete all processing and check sheets as required.
