What Drives Success Under general supervision: Conduct the training and mentoring of new brazers in both copper and aluminum, according to the guidelines outlined by engineering. Trains new brazers in proper brazing techniques and prepares them to braze in serial production for both aluminum and copper. Trains new brazers in proper use of leak detection equipment. Qualifies new brazers as being ready for serial production. Documents trainees progress and communicates progress to relevant stake holders. Follows training guidelines as outlined by engineering and quality teams. Audits braze joints and brazed assemblies for defects, leaks, and other non-conformances. Help ensure proper brazing process and procedures are being followed in production. Works with engineering and quality teams to identify and reduce braze leaks and improve DPMO. Mentors qualified brazers who are struggling. Coordinates with purchasing and operations to ensure training parts are available. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Requires at least 3 years related experience.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
