Requirements

Positive, ‘Can do’ attitude and approach
0-2 years brazing and/or soldering experience preferably within the cutting tool industry (3-5 years desired experience, preferably with PCD)
Ability to apply standard inspection techniques
High quality awareness
Detail oriented and skilled in understanding process workflow

Responsibilities

Clean and Prepare tools for braze per MAPAL Inc. cutting tool product specifications
Grind tips to proper dimensions as required
Clean tools after braze. Must ensure all tooling is inspected for proper manufacturing to blueprint specifications and MAPAL Inc. standard
Tool measurement and testing according to the blueprints and appropriate measurement tools
Produce product in accordance with job router, print and capacity in the most efficient manner
Implement and inspect equipment maintenance according to maintenance schedule
Ensure work area and equipment are maintained, organized and clean to Mapal standards
Exceed and exhibit all Mapal Inc. behaviors as defined by policy, procedure and standards
Actively participates in all cross-functional team projects and assignments as directed by Plant Manager
