About The Position

Step into the role of a J.P. Morgan Brand Strategy Associate where you will help shape the future of one of the world’s most prestigious brands. In this role you will support key strategic brand initiatives across our consumer and wholesale businesses including managing the brand identity, positioning, messaging, architecture, naming, campaign planning, and defining go to market strategies. You will be at the center of everything- partnering with cross-functional teams, applying research insights, help bring new innovations to our identity, and be the expert of the brand to help drive our businesses forward. As the J.P. Morgan Brand Strategy Associate on the firmwide brand team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping J.P. Morgan’s creative vision and strategic direction—driving impactful creative, shaping campaigns and advancing strategic initiatives across brand architecture, naming, messaging and positioning. Acting as a central connector, you’ll inspire collaboration across cross-functional teams, anticipate and manage project needs, and guide agency partnerships to deliver outstanding creative work. Your leadership will champion bold ideas, elevate brand processes, and set new standards of excellence across every client touchpoint. Through your efforts, you will help strengthen J.P. Morgan’s global brand presence and empower the firm to innovate as the leader in the financial industry.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant brand/ marketing experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required, ideally with a major in marketing or business
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to balance multiple workstreams in a fast paced environment
  • Can translate insights into actionable outcomes
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications including developing compelling presentations to stakeholders
  • Team player- operate effectively with many groups of partners
  • Highly organized
  • Passion for financial services
  • Experience working with external creative agencies and/ or internal creative resources
  • Bring an intellectual curiosity, innovation, and creativity

Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Lead project management for brand creative and strategic initiatives, collaborating with internal creative teams, external agencies and client stakeholders to deliver impactful work for the J.P. Morgan brand.
  • Brand Management: Serve as the brand management lead, analyze brand research to better drive market positioning, setting strategic frameworks, and ensuring timely delivery and clear communication across cross-functional teams.
  • Brand Ecosystem Oversight: Manage the J.P. Morgan brand ecosystem, partnering with teams to execute exceptional creative across all client touchpoints and uphold best-in-class brand standards.
  • Agency Relationship Management: Own day-to-day relationships with internal and external agency partners, providing strategic guidance to inform creative development and execution.
  • Brand Architecture & Strategy: Shape brand architecture by defining relationships, creative strategies, naming, positioning, and messaging for parent brands, sub-brands, and product lines.
  • Creative Advocacy: Champion creative ideas with clients while supporting organizational brand goals, fostering innovation and alignment.
  • Briefing & Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and manage creative briefings, agency engagements, and stakeholder reviews to ensure alignment and excellence.
  • Operational Excellence: Partner with operations to manage project status, anticipate issues, and keep all teams informed, serving as the go-to resource for project information.
  • Process Improvement: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of brand systems and processes, continuously refining and developing workflows for greater efficiency.
  • Brand Education: Act as the single point of truth for the brand, training and educating global stakeholders to ensure consistency and understanding.
  • Creative Judgment: Apply strong creative judgment to assess output, optimize feedback, and drive stronger results.
  • Sponsorship Creative Development: Apply strong creative judgment to assess needs across sponsored properties.
  • Communication & Presentation Skills: Demonstrate exceptional communication skills and expertise in developing compelling presentations and decks for executive and client audiences.
