About The Position

We're seeking a bold, strategic Brand Manager to lead the global brand strategy for Diablo Immortal. As a key marketing leader for one of Blizzard's most ambitious mobile games, you'll define the brand's trajectory-crafting emotionally resonant campaigns, driving player engagement across the lifecycle, and scaling our presence in key markets. You'll partner with publishing, creative, product, and regional teams to launch new content, execute integrated marketing programs, and evolve our brand voice across platforms. Your leadership will shape how millions of players around the world experience the next era of Diablo Immortal. This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Irvine, CA.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of marketing experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or people management role.
  • Demonstrated success leading brand strategy and campaign execution for mobile games or live-service entertainment products.
  • Deep understanding of mobile user behavior, growth marketing principles, and player lifecycle management.
  • Strong experience with cross-functional team leadership, agency oversight, and international campaign deployment.
  • Ability to blend creative instincts with analytical rigor-crafting compelling messaging and measuring impact.
  • Outstanding communication, influence, and presentation skills.
  • Passion for the Diablo franchise and a strong connection to gaming culture.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience marketing mobile games in Asia or other high-growth markets.
  • Prior success with IP collaborations or large-scale tentpole campaigns.
  • Familiarity with user acquisition, in-game monetization strategy, or performance creative testing.
  • Knowledge of Diablo Immortal's gameplay, world, and audience expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Brand Strategy: Define and evolve the brand strategy for Diablo Immortal across global markets. Align positioning, messaging, and campaign architecture with overall product and business goals.
  • Execute Integrated Campaigns: Own the development and execution of full-funnel, multi-channel marketing campaigns, including seasonal content drops, new class launches, cultural activations, and IP collaborations.
  • Partner on Go-to-Market Planning: Collaborate with product marketing, product Management, creative, community, and commercial partners to define GTM plans and campaign pillars for key content moments.
  • Drive Creative Excellence: Lead development of breakthrough creative that pushes the boundaries of the ARPG mobile genre. Ensure creative consistency across every brand touchpoint.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Serve as the connective tissue between marketing, product, UA, regional, and creative teams. Translate strategy into action across a complex and fast-moving organization.
  • Measure & Optimize: Leverage market insights, player data, and campaign metrics to evaluate effectiveness and inform ongoing strategy. Use performance KPIs to demonstrate return on investment and guide decision-making.
  • Manage Agency Relationships: Direct external creative and media agencies as needed; ensure on-time and on-brand execution of campaign deliverables.
