This role blends technical content marketing with brand journalism. Ideal candidates possess a proven track record of translating technical concepts into compelling editorial and marketing content designed to catch a reader's attention. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented individual who can work seamlessly with a team as well as liaise with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate exemplifies DPR's four core values (integrity, uniqueness, enjoyment, ever forward).

Responsibilities

  • Generating a range of written editorial projects, including short- and long-form articles/blog posts, case studies, web content, video scripts, award submissions, etc.
  • Producing a steady stream of content for both internal and external use, averaging 2-3 primary pieces of written content per month along with secondary content assets.
  • Interviewing internal and external stakeholders to uncover compelling stories and proactively managing reviews and approvals to ensure accuracy and alignment.
  • Managing editorial projects from start to finish, including aligning resources across the team, and adhering to DPR's content development and approval process.
  • Managing and executing editorial projects within a larger integrated campaign, working with the wider team to ensure optimal content reuse and distribution across multiple channels.
  • Overseeing the work of freelance writers, including providing editorial and style guidance, and reviewing content to ensure alignment with brand voice, standards and deadlines.
  • Contributing to planning discussions, demonstrating the ability to put forward tactical recommendations in line with strategies; advising others on campaigns and ways they can be driven through storytelling.
  • Contributing to the team's over-arching editorial calendar and providing schedule updates.
  • Providing feedback and training to others on good content best practices that helps DPR build and sustain a consistent and positive brand image.
  • Optimizing content and tone of voice for various platforms and channels, taking into account audience behavior, and monitoring content performance to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Ensuring all content produced adheres to DPR brand standards, requirements and operational/EHS protocols.

Requirements

  • A results-oriented mindset, able to consistently deliver a quality work product.
  • An ability to analyze and synthesize information, with a keen attention to detail.
