About The Position

The Brand Initiatives Designer at Mercola Consulting Services is responsible for developing and executing innovative design concepts that enhance the brand identity and support key business initiatives. This role involves creating compelling visuals across digital, print, and retail platforms, requiring a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and strategic thinking to align all brand initiatives with the company's vision and objectives.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools (e.g., Figma or Canva).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing innovative branding projects across multiple mediums (digital, print, retail).
  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, and color theory.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of current design trends, branding principles, and consumer behavior insights.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in branding, graphic design, or creative strategy roles.
  • Experience designing for diverse platforms including retail environments, digital marketing channels, and social media.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with UX/UI design principles for web or app interfaces is a plus.
  • Experience working on retail or experiential design projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and execute design solutions for brand initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy.
  • Maintain and evolve the visual identity of the brand by creating cohesive designs for campaigns, retail signage, packaging, and digital platforms.
  • Create digital assets for websites, social media, email campaigns, and other online platforms to support brand initiatives.
  • Develop innovative concepts for new brand initiatives, including product launches, marketing campaigns, and retail activations.
  • Design visually compelling pitch decks and presentations for internal stakeholders or external partners to communicate brand strategies effectively.
  • Work closely with copywriters to integrate strong messaging into visual designs that amplify the brand's voice.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor strategies, and consumer preferences to inform design decisions.
  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines and asset libraries.
  • Partner with marketing, product development, and external vendors to execute projects seamlessly while incorporating feedback from stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned.
