About The Position

The Brand Director for Comfort and Value Hotels at Choice Hotels is a pivotal role within the Core Brand Strategy organization, responsible for developing and executing brand strategies that enhance guest experiences, increase owner satisfaction, and drive franchisee profitability. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to align brand priorities with corporate objectives, monitor brand performance, and act as a brand champion across various departments and with franchisees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience required; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience in brand management, strategy, or management consulting.
  • Experience in hospitality or a multi-unit franchise organization strongly preferred.
  • Strong track record of translating organizational strategy to business plans and execution.
  • Proven success in collaborating with business leaders across organizational lines.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to drive results in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute brand strategy and performance-driving initiatives in alignment with corporate business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to represent brand priorities and develop project plans for key strategies.
  • Identify consumer and owner opportunities and develop brand plans to evolve brand value propositions.
  • Monitor and track brand performance and competitors, directing cross-functional teams in custom analyses.
  • Own the development and maintenance of brand economic models in partnership with senior directors.
  • Act as the Brand Champion across various departments to maintain brand integrity and drive pipeline growth.
  • Prepare and deliver effective communications to convey brand strategy and performance to diverse audiences.
  • Execute special projects across the Core Brand Strategy organization as needed.
