About The Position

Represent Great Lakes Brewing Company Build relationships with consumers by conducting assigned/scheduled off-premise and on-premise beer tastings and event support Assist Brand Development Manager and Sales Team as needed with events Educate consumers about key focus brands as directed by the Brand Development Manager Promote and raise awareness of specific year round and seasonal products as assigned Distribute GLBC promotional materials when relevant for activations and events Exhibit a superior level of customer service during tastings and events Report event results to Brand Development Manager including but not limited to: Quantity of samplings, engagement of consumers, quantity of packages purchased, consumer feedback, trends seen, and possible buyer behaviors Travel within the assigned market to execute events at multiple locations Assist with managing promotional material inventory that rep is responsible for

Requirements

  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Outgoing, energetic, and excellent communication skills
  • Organized, self-motivated, and adaptable to work environments
  • Physical capability to lift 20lb beer cases
  • Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record based on our insurance company’s matrix
  • Flexible scheduling is essential, with most hours during nights and weekends

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of craft beer industry and familiarity with GLBC is preferred
  • Prior experience in conducting on- and off-premise tastings is preferred

Responsibilities
