Your Role Gensler Denver is seeking a Senior Brand Designer, with a passion for helping our clients enhance their built spaces. This position will focus on the ability to understand an environment's design, and to develop comprehensive branding solutions that include complex signage and wayfinding systems, environmental graphics, and large-scale wall installations. The role encompasses creating cohesive visual experiences that help visitors, students, passengers—any number of users—navigate spaces through a thoughtful combination of branded elements, environmental graphics, signage, wayfinding, and physical installations. As a Senior Brand Designer, you will lead client conversations and serve as the main point of contact for clients, internal teams, and vendors throughout project lifecycles. You'll be responsible for translating client vision into impactful branded environments while ensuring design integrity and successful implementation. This is not a remote position. What You Will Do Work with a multi-disciplinary team of architects and designers to create branding strategies and design comprehensive solutions including signage, wayfinding, environmental graphics, and large-scale wall installations that connect people to place for diverse client projects Lead client conversations as the main point of contact while generating multiple initial concepts and developing viable, documented design solutions that help solve complex branding and wayfinding conditions Integrate messaging, color, imagery, typography and composition into cohesive three-dimensional branded environments Coordinate with vendors and produce design intent documentation suitable for public bid processes while maintaining client relationships Review and elevate quality of our design and documentation with design sensibility, code and technical knowledge Collaborate with and provide design guidance during construction administration, demonstrating knowledge of fabrication processes, RFIs and installation quality standards Mentor and train junior designers Collaborate with clients, design teams and other graphic designers across multiple industries Facilitate great design results by cultivating and maintaining positive client and team relationships Lead conversations with clients and act as main point of contact for client, teams and vendors Assist with writing project scopes and collaborate with project manager on budget and workplans and monitoring financial performance Assist in the development of proposals and collaborate in the strategic development of new business Interact with internal team members, project managers from other areas, representatives from accounting and external vendors Manage project coordination between internal studios Work with project manager to inform project staffing/hours Your Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, industrial design, environmental design, architecture, visual communication or related field 10+ years of professional experience in brand development, signage and wayfinding, environmental graphic design or similar studio experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to read architectural construction documents and shop drawings Client- and team-oriented, knows how to balance demands for time and resources Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills Experience in marketing, writing and delivering proposals for project work Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Word and Excel Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines Comfortable in internal and external client facing situations Familiarity with Sketchup and Revit preferred but not required To be considered for this opportunity, you must UPLOAD A SAMPLE DESIGN PORTFOLIO to the attachment’s sections of your application. **Compensation is based upon experience and estimated base salary range is $90,000 – $120,000 annually.
