This role shapes the founder-facing identity of HubSpot for Startups. We are looking for a content strategist who understands early-stage founders, has strong taste, and can translate ideas into frameworks, templates, and narratives that feel modern, useful, and distinct. This is not a traditional blog-writer role. The mandate is to help define how AI-native startups build, and to translate that point of view into high-quality, design-forward content that founders adopt, share, and remember. You’ll operate as both a strategic thinker and a hands-on creator. You will set the narrative direction for the program, build a cohesive brand system, and create the content infrastructure that supports both our scaled Seed motion and our targeted Series A motion. This role interacts daily with our BDM, Events, and broader Marketing team and collaborates closely with leadership to ensure our output reflects where the ecosystem is heading.

  • A system of templates, playbooks, visual frameworks, and content formats that reflect a modern aesthetic
  • Core thought leadership on “How AI-native startups build in 2026,” providing narrative assets for the broader team
  • Founder playbooks that feel like essential tools, not marketing brochures
  • High-signal assets for Series A depth: reports, technical frameworks, and concept diagrams
  • Direct the production of high-taste, visually arresting content across various formats (e.g., video, visual frameworks, narrative long-form, short-form social content, and playbooks)
  • Signature content assets that support the challenges of Seed & Series A startups & build founder trust
  • Regular "content drops" and visual systems that build cultural relevance and reinforce brand consistency
  • Editorial ownership of our social presence and content calendar, including managing contractors & vendors
  • A Clear Point of View on AI-Native GTM: You have an opinion, supported by research or experience, on how AI will fundamentally change the GTM strategy and operational workflows for early-stage companies
  • Deep Ecosystem Fluency: Deep familiarity with early-stage founders, their technical and GTM workflows, and the broader venture ecosystem. You know the signals founders trust
  • Demonstrated experience with strategic channel management and content distribution across platforms founders trust (e.g., LinkedIn, newsletters, YouTube). You know how to leverage multimedia formats to maximize reach and conversion
  • A Creator’s Mindset: Experience building a personal audience or running an editorial engine that earns momentum and cultural relevance. You understand how operators, founders, and creators amplify a POV
  • Exceptional ability to turn abstract GTM strategy, product features, or founder pain points into structured, visual frameworks, playbooks, and templates
  • A clean, simple, and systematized product-informed aesthetic that elevates brand perception
  • Player-Coach Mentality: Ability to work independently, setting the narrative direction while personally driving the creation of signature content assets
