About The Position

Do you have a good eye for social media aesthetics, a notes app full of random ideas, and feel comfortable in front of a camera? CARFAX has the perfect internship for you.
Join our Brand Team this summer as our Brand Content Intern! You’ll get hands-on experience creating authentic content that resonates with Gen Z car buyers and owners. Plus, you'll get to collaborate with our iconic Car Fox, build a highly visible portfolio, and enjoy a four-day work week!
At CARFAX, we believe in the power of teamwork and value in-person interactions so that we can collaborate and thrive together. This position will require 3 days in our Centreville office, subject to change with future business needs.

Requirements

• You are currently studying Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related Arts fields
• Working knowledge of Canva and Adobe Creative Suite such as Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Adobe Express.
• You stay on top of the latest social media trends and what makes Gen Z stop scrolling
• You’re full of ideas and excited to share them, such as creative concepts for incorporating Car Fox into our content.
• You can film and edit fun, creative, and engaging Reels/TikToks and feel comfortable on camera.
• You collaborate easily and can implement feedback from the brand team and internal partners.

Responsibilities

• Research trending topics, hashtags, and cultural moments to inform our content strategy.
• Brainstorm creative concepts that speak directly to Gen Z and first-time car buyers.
• Support on-camera content creation and film/edit engaging short-form video.
• Design graphics for our social platforms.
• Help build and maintain our social media content calendar (IG, TikTok, etc.).
• Support community management by engaging with our audience in the comments.
