About The Position

The position involves prospecting, generating, qualifying, processing leads, and appointment setting for the sales team. The candidate will collaboratively work with the sales and marketing teams, as well as management, to develop lead generation strategies aimed at creating opportunities with prospective customers. Acting as an ambassador for the business, the individual will promote the company's products and services while working closely with the Costco Liaison and Marketing team to ensure leads are generated across various business sectors. The role requires achieving agreed personal and departmental lead goals, informing potential clients about the company's offerings, gathering relevant prospect information, utilizing events to gain leads, and inputting lead information into the company database. Building relationships with colleagues and clients, maintaining professional standards, and assisting other departments as needed are also key aspects of the job.

Requirements

  • Previous lead generating experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and an excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • Positive approach to objection handling is essential
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Financially motivated, energetic, and reliable with a hunger to succeed
  • Upbeat and organized personality

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting, generating, qualifying, processing leads and appointment setting for sales team
  • Collaboratively work with the sales, marketing team and Management to develop lead generation strategies
  • Act as an ambassador for the business, promoting its products and services
  • Work closely with the Costco Liaison and Marketing team to ensure leads are generated within various business sectors
  • Achieve agreed personal and departmental targets (lead goals)
  • Inform potential clients about the company's products and services
  • Gather relevant prospect information
  • Use events to gain potential leads
  • Input lead information onto the company database
  • Build relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Deal with clients in a professional manner aligned to brand values
  • Ensure service is prompt, polite and professional standards are kept
  • Assist with other departments as required
  • Foster good relationships with all internal departments and cross-functional teams
  • Proactively support their manager by suggesting new ideas
  • Refer to senior team members for advice and support
  • Attend all staff meetings and training sessions as required
  • Maintain a guest-oriented approach and demonstrate a professional approach to work and team mates
