About The Position

The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations. Acquires and maintains knowledge of products represented. Prepares, serves, and breaks down product, equipment, and supplies. Intercepts consumers and demonstrates products in a professional manner. Maintains an overall professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job. We are building an event staff to support various activities throughout the summer and fall season. The work hours are dependent upon if YOU are available when the activities happen. Requirements

Minimum age requirement is 18 (21 for positions involving adult beverages)
Possess reliable transportation
Have access to a smartphone or tablet
Availability required during scheduled events
Physically demanding role involving frequent lifting, standing, and varied motion
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficient in ability to use and navigate on a personal computer or personal mobile device using applications and internal systems
Local Food handlers permit may be required
Ability to stand and walk for the shift
Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel
Ability to reach with hands and arms (including conducting tasks overhead up to 65 inches)
Ability to talk and hear
Visual ability to read instructions and perform events
Ability to stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up ladder, balance
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds (including occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds)
Ability to push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden with appliances, supplies and product
Ability to prepare foods and beverages using the required appliances, such as cooking utensils, knives, convection oven, coffee maker, electric fryer, microwaves
Ability to be in contact with cleaning supplies
Ensure a professional appearance and proper grooming is in order
Present a neat, clean, and appropriately groomed appearance
English is the primary language skill

Nice To Haves

One to three months’ related experience and/or training preferred
Enjoy working with the public and being around crowds of people
Bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity
