The Tournament has grown from a unique idea amongst friends to hosting some of the hottest sporting events in the world, owning and operating The Basketball Tournament (TBT) and The Soccer Tournament (TST). TBT launched in 2014 and is now one of the most exciting events on the summer sports calendar, with a Fox Sports partnership, regional championships across the country, and a winner-take-all, $1 million prize. Every year, its open format attracts some of the best players in the world and fulfills its promise of showcasing electrifying competition. In 2023, The Tournament unveiled TST, which exploded onto the scene with a $1 million prize, billing itself as Coachella for Sports – part food festival, part sporting event. Internship Description The Tournament is hiring Brand Activation Interns to assist onsite with Partnership and Event Operations for The Soccer Tournament (TST). This role begins approximately 2 weeks before TST and runs through the event’s conclusion. Support Interns will provide broad assistance across partner activations, hospitality, ticketing, and Proof of Performance (POP) capture. Working closely with the Lead Intern and full-time staff, Support Interns will ensure partners are well-supported and activations are executed at the highest level. This role will be onsite in Cary, NC from 1 week before TST until the day after TST concludes. May 20th, 2026 - June 2nd, 2026

• The ideal candidate will have an interest in sports (specifically soccer), be willing to pitch in wherever needed in our start-up environment, and exhibit the following traits:

Responsibilities

• Assist partners with activation setup, restocking product, and delivering items.
• Provide hospitality and VIP support, delivering white-glove service for partners and guests.
• Support ticketing and credential distribution for partners and exhibitors.
• Assist with POP photography management and daily image organization into partner folders.
• Oversee media day to ensure strong partner representation in photos.
• Monitor onsite branding, product visibility, and activations.
• Provide general event support and assist the Lead Intern as needed.
