About The Position

The Branch Support Specialist is responsible for providing phone and email support to World's network of branches. This position will assist Branch Associates with system and procedural issues as needed.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Demonstrates good problem solving skills
  • Exhibits critical thinking and strategic thinking
  • Shows innovation and consistently goes above and beyond
  • Acts as a role model for the company's mission, vision, and values
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1 year of previous work experience in an office environment

Nice To Haves

  • Some completed business courses are preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist Branch Associates verbally and in writing with drawer balancing issues
  • Assist with customer account questions
  • Resolve errors on loans
  • Address check, receipt, and disbursement errors
  • Handle downtime loan or payment concerns
  • Correct misapplied payments
  • Answer operational procedure questions
  • Manage NSF check returns
  • Respond to pay by phone questions
  • Assist with other policy, procedure, and support questions not specifically listed above
  • Work directly with other departments, such as Training and Accounting to complete special projects as needed
