The role of the Branch Specialist will be primarily responsible for the overall operation of the teller department as well as providing support to other branch staff, including MSRs and the Branch Manager, as needed. Our Branch Specialist functions as a teller or MSR on an as-needed basis filling in for peak coverage or shortages. They perform duties related to loan processing, certificates of deposit, IRAs, opening and closing accounts, loan closings and disbursements, etc., and serve as a subject matter expert for all branch transactions, policies, and procedures. The ideal candidate must understand credit union operations and must have a heart for service and a positive attitude! They should be comfortable working independently and as a contributing member of a team. Meeting deadlines and attention to detail are critical pieces of this position.
