About The Position

The Branch Service Manager at Amegy Bank is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Tomball Parkway Banking Center in Tomball, TX. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while managing banking center services, operations, and sales functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking operations, leadership, and customer relationship management, and will play a key role in achieving the strategic goals of the banking center.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in banking or financial services, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Proficient knowledge of lending processes and procedures, including underwriting, loan origination, and documentation.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills, focusing on building and maintaining relationships with clients.
  • Proficiency in financial management, sales techniques, and banking products and services.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers, employees, and senior management.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills, focusing on identifying and resolving issues to achieve business objectives.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with banking software and systems for managing transactions, customer accounts, and branch operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the banking center service, operations, and sales functions to achieve strategic goals in coordination with the Branch Manager.
  • Conduct training and coaching, including mentoring employees.
  • Provide leadership and training for the sale and referral of bank products and services.
  • Resolve and respond to client service concerns, complex client complaints, and questions.
  • Direct the work of managed employees, including scheduling and setting hours.
  • Maintain production or sales records for supervision and performance management of employees.
  • Recommend promotions or changes in employee status, handle employee complaints and grievances, and discipline employees.
  • Oversee compliance with safety and security protocols and monitor legal compliance measures.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with policy and the company's risk appetite.
  • Approve teller transactions as needed.
  • Prepare the banking center for audits and work with audit staff to resolve concerns identified.
  • Provide sales leadership through personal production and oversight of sales and services tasks.
  • Investigate and research operational issues, loss, fraud, and resolve complex matters on behalf of the company.
  • Represent the banking center in handling complaints, arbitrating disputes, or resolving grievances.
  • Process cash transactions and perform other customer service and sales duties as needed.
