About The Position

The Branch Sales Associate plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and maximizing sales opportunities at the branch. This position involves engaging with walk-in customers, assisting them with product selection, and managing their overall experience while also performing various warehouse tasks. Requirements

• Flexibility to work any time within branch hours of operation.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier loads with assistance.
• Willingness to learn and operate powered industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire customer experience, including product selection and order entry.
• Maximize sales opportunities and encourage customer loyalty.
• Adapt communication style to different audiences in various formats (email, phone, in-person).
• Pick, prepare, and stage will call orders and shipping products.
• Prepare customer backorders and organize stock received.
• Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment.
• Perform inventory counts.
• Navigate different computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse activities.
• Maintain branch appearance through housekeeping tasks.
• Comply with safety guidelines and wear personal protective equipment.
